Zurich Insurance Great Financial Results

The results for Zurich Insurance are in for 2007 and they are excellent, with a rise in net income of over 22 percent to USD5.6 billion.
A statement released by Zurich Insurance about their performance said that the business had achieved good levels of growth in the personal sector, seeing premiums rise by 4 percent compared with the previous year. They were also delighted with their customer retention figure of approximately 90 percent, a factor in their profit rising by almost 6.5 percent.
Although they were hit hard by the storms across the UK and overseas last year, seeing a 2.5 percent increase in their loss ratios, Zurich Insurance still delivered in all other areas and saw a fantastic overall performance. It is their diversity that has enabled them to achieve this level of profit.
