New MD For Zurich Insurance

Zurich Insurance have a new Managing Director for Retail and Partnerships, Mike Quinton, set to take over the role from January 1 2008, taking over from Mark Searles who has supervised the retail side since it began earlier in 2007.
Mark Searles is the chief marketing officer for Zurich Insurance and has been seen as the driver behind the much improved retail business the insurer has enjoyed to date. He will now look at marketing for the whole of Europe and the UK, bringing his skills to bear on a larger arena.
Mike Quinton arrives into Zurich Insurance from the RBS, where he has held a number of senior directorial positions. As MD for Retail and Partnerships his remit will be to grow the business by widening the distribution of Zurich Insurance products, working closely with the marketing department to maintain corporate identity and message.
The future prospects for Zurich Insurance look exciting and Mike Quinton is expected to play a large part in them.
