Zurich Insurance Warn Against Leaving Valuables In Car

Most drivers leave valuable items in their cars, either regularly or occasionally, says Zurich Insurance.
In fact studies show that satellite navigation systems, music players, toys, mobiles and CDs, plus all the other bits and pieces we leave lying around in the car are worth almost GBP 4 billion.
If drivers were questioned would they know how much of this valuable equipment was actually covered on their insurance is what Zurich Insurance would like to ask. As a nation we are all busy people, rushing from one place to another and living our lives in our cars in lots of cases.
It is so easy to leave something in view, attracting interest from a potential thief who can then find many other items of value once they are in the car. For those not fully insured for these items it can be financially stressful as well as emotionally.
