A new study carried out by Abbey National has found over half of UK business owners feel risks must be taken if entrepreneurs are to succeed. Of those surveyed half of them considered themselves to be risk takers.
Of new business start ups over 75 percent of them felt that taking the gamble of setting up on their own had been a good one, with over 5 percent of respondents to the Abbey National survey feeling they had achieved more than they had expected, around 40 percent saying they had achieved their initial goals and almost a third feeling they were very close to getting there.
As an Abbey National spokesman said, the decision to set up their own business had proved to be a good one for the majority of people surveyed.
