New Limited Edition Bond From Legal And General

A new bond has been introduced by Legal and General, a limited edition six year bond with capital guaranteed that has a greater involvement with the stock exchange, specifically the FTSE 100 index. The bond is available for a limited period of 8 weeks, the closing date being 30 April.
The Legal and General bond is, as the name suggests, a fixed term investment with the initial capital guaranteed to be returned at the end of the six year period. The return will be seventy percent of the growth achieved on the FTSE 100 or ten percent per annum on the capital, whichever is the larger.
It is important, in the current economic environment, for investors to have a safety net said a Legal and General spokesman, which is just what this guaranteed bond offers.
