Top E-commerce Award For Legal and General

Legal and General has been awarded the highest rating possible by the Financial Technology Research Centre in its annual e-excellence study. The study looks at the quality of the e-commerce service provided to financial advisors in the areas of menu structure, income protection, critical illness and life cover.
Legal and General were one of only two providers to receive the maximum rating in every area, something they were delighted with. The award also indicates to financial advisors just how effective the Legal and General set up is. As a spokeswoman from the company said, they hope they can help advisors get the results they need easier and more quickly, which also means a better service for their customers.
The spokeswoman from Legal and General went on to say how they perceived technology to be an area where a distinct competitive advantage could be gained over others, which is why they continue to invest substantial resources into it.
